Eagles Implosion

Anyone else watching this? With two minutes left, Umenyiora (sp?) has 6 sacks, 6 SACKS! and the team as a whole has 12 sacks. Eagles were lucky to score 3 points. If Justice has a job tomorrow, I'll be shocked.

He made Justice his bitch in every way possible. It was ridiculous. Power, Finesse... and Justice was a first round pick!

I seriously felt bad for the guy I can't believe they didnt line a TE up over there to help, he confidence is shattered after that game and he may never recover

How do you not put a TE over there to help out??? I think Reid has way TOO much confidence in McNabb

All of a sudden the Giants are back in the East race. Maybe last week wasn't a fluke for them?

Prior to the eagles game night the teams that played the Giants were 8-1. The one loss being our loss to them. So a 1-2 record was somewhat deceptive.

Re: Eagles Implosion

Injuries at several key areas contributed some to their demise last night, but the Giants played a good game, and were all over D-Nabb.

On another note...we better put up 80+ points on the Lions this week, considering McNabb and company put up 56 with their offensive "weapons".

I also think people will be pleasantly surprised with how our defense handles the Lions high octane passing offense.

They still had Westbrook for that game, and Curtis is not a bad WR, not a #1 type, but not bad at all.

And how about the freaking Bears sucking balls?! I don't even know what to think anymore.

Like are we going to get beat by the Lions and/or Packers? And since I think the Cowboys are actually good now, I want to see them play someone that isn't a patsy, just for proof. This season is making me crazy.

Who would have ever thought San Diego is playing this bad (Thanks Norv! ) or the Packers would be this GOOD?

Re: Eagles Implosion

Last week Gibbs and Co dropped the ball against the G-Men. Giants are trash and the Eagles are just raw sewage IMO.

If we played the Giants 10 times we probably win 5 and they win 5. Same with the Eagles. There is just alot of parity in the NFL but especially in the NFC East.

The Eagles looked bad, but I don't think you can say the Giants are trash. Their D has come to play the past two weeks and I thought even in the first half against the Redskins they looked very active. I'd wait to see how they do next week before you go burying them.
