Thoughts on Rock's Celebration

Apparently Rock Cartwright celebrated after the game on Dallas' mid-field star. I didn't see it, but I wish Rock hadn't done that. It's great to beat Dallas, and the Cowboy hater in me kinda smirks when I think of a Redskin dancing on the star, but I'm all about winning AND losing with class. I guess Tank Johnson wasn't too happy about it.

I'm sure Dallas fans will quickly forget how their own T.O. did the same thing.

He should have given the Stadium an upper-decker.

Not to sure how many people on here would know what the "upper decker" is, but I have the same kind of mind as you my friend......that would have been classy.

I love it. These teams are supposed to not like each other.

I'm just playing devil's advocate. Think about how disgusted we'd be if a Cowboy did that at FedEx. We'd be screaming about how classless they are, etc etc.

Anyway, that said, F dallas and I'm so happy we shamed them in their house. What a great send off for us at Texas Stadium.

A big thank you to Dallas for being the cockiest team on earth. Eat humble pie you assholes.

I'm surprised Tank didn't reach for a gun.

Was he dancing? From the link, it seemed as though he just stood on it. Who cares, it was after the game. Agree with 724sf, he should have laid a cleveland steamer on that thing.

Re: Thoughts on Rock's Celebration

I look at it this way. It wasn't necessary, and sure you can call it classless, but it's also adding up the intensity of the rivalry. I think the Cowboys-Redskins rivalry has been gaining some steam in recent years, and this is only going to add to it.

And besides, if it is such a big deal, why aren't they still pissed at T.O. for doing it?

Well, I think to this point Tank is the only one who sounded off about it, and he wasn't on Dallas or Philly when TO did it a while ago as an Eagle.

Memo to tank: When you get busted and serve time in prison for what looked a lot like arms-dealing, you have to wait a while before you can call anyone "classless."

It was rhetorical. I'm sure Tank could care less what people think of him. And when T.O. did it he was with S.F., I'm not sure he did that when he was with the Eagles.

Oh that's right. Doesn't change the point of my post though.
