Re: Redskins/Eagles MVP?

I'm gonna have to go with the big guys up front and with the entire defense as an honorable mention. The O-Line dominated after the first quarter. Any time your RBs are getting 200 yards you know those guys owned.

Re: Redskins/Eagles MVP?

Oline without a doubt. Did a pretty good job protecting JC and the line PLUS Sellers really opened up those holes for CP. huge push by thomas on the 4th and 2.

The D. Without Springs or Taylor, they did it again for us. Andre Carter made several plays in the game that were huge (pass deflections and the big push up the field that made Westbrook lose yardage near the goal line).

It was a tough choice between Portis and the Oline... really could go either way, but I chose Portis.

I was thinking the same thing. But you could make a strong case for Cooley, for Portis, for the O-Line.

I'd like to give it to the D for essentially shutting the Eagles down after the first drive even though they were down three starters...but that might have been more because of Reid's poor coaching and McNabb's poor playing.

I made a comment on the in-game thread that Suisham is quietly, IMO, a candidate for team MVP so far. His kickoffs are way better this year, and he's been money as far as FG's go. A couple of early misses, but he's been great. 11 of them so far this year.

He can still work on his kickoffs...but yeah, he's been great on FGs.

I had to go O-line. I would have went D but the fact that they have gone 2 consecutive weeks without a sack concerns me. When JT comes back I think the D-line's production will increase but right now thats the only thing i'm worried about.

Clinton Portis hands down. With BIG props to the defense. These guys have done a fantastic job against some of the best offenses in the league.

Make more game balls! Give it to the O-line, Dat Boy and #26.

Re: Redskins/Eagles MVP?

I voted for CP - after running it right up their ass for a buck 40, he literally willed us to the first down on that crucial 4th and 1 when the eagles had us stuffed on that play. Game Set Match.
