Seattle week predictions

With the road trip to Seattle looming. And after two big loses, how do we show up this week in Seattle?

This to me is a MUST WIN game for our team IMO. We haven't had much recent luck out in the North West of Seattle, what used to be Zorn country....

I think this team has to win 5 of the next 6 to have a chance at post season play. I don't see 10 wins being enough this season to even get a wild card birth.

With that said, it starts now. We have to find a way to get a win in this game. And I think we will. Will it be easy NO. Seattle is not a bad club and getting Matt back last week makes them even more dangerous.

It starts up front! Pass pro, keep JC clean. And lets see if we can find a way to get a few damn SACKS......for once! And win the turnover battle as we did last week and get something out of it, would be an awful nice bonus.

Your thoughts on the game?

Re: Seattle week predictions

Skins win by 2 TDs or more.

Game total in the low 40s.

Parlay the Skins laying the points with the OVER.

I would be THRILLED to score 32 on the road. If we do, chances are we have either a defensive or teams TD. But I would love to see a 30 spot on the board for the B&G.

Right now I don't think our offense can score 30 on USC.

That may be true, but we're playing Seattle!

How do you think we score 30+ on Seattle when our offense couldn't get that on Det or STL? I hope I'm wrong cause this is a MUST WIN GAME.

Thumbs up Re: Seattle week predictions

I think the Passing Attack will show up this week. Clinton will be back over 100 w/a TD. Seattle always gives us problems, especially at home. But this year theyre Defense is in shambles...and i think our squad is hungry.. like all of us.. for another win we desperately need after two awful weeks. We Grind this one out and take it by margen.

Re: Seattle week predictions

Seattle is in garbage time for 8 minutes in the 4th quarter, then a fumble and a recovered onside kick makes it close with 3 minutes left to go. Skins' squeezes it out once again 24-20.
Also, Shaun Alexander gets booed by Seattle fans and gets no carries. Macolm Kelly makes a clutch catch for a TD.
Zorn goes max protect in the second half.

I predict that at some point during the game I will kick over my desk chair in my living room.

Who knows. For some reason we turn into the Detroit Lions everytime we play them.

Re: Seattle week predictions

Hard to forget Kerney whooping ass on Heyer last season and subsequently mopping up the field w/ Collins' limp body. If Jansen plays (and I think he will) I predict Kerney gets 3 or 4 sacks on his own.

Aside from the freak-show we're gonna see at RT I expect Holmgren to put on a clinic vs his struggling, uncertain underling. I just don't see a W this weekend but I sincerely hope to eat crow Sunday afternoon.

24-10 Seachickens. Ugh.

Re: Seattle week predictions

I think the stretch runs Gibbs led us on in 05 and 07 are a big deal right now. Basically all of the major players on our team know what it takes to bring it late in the year with the playoffs on the line. We're staring a .500 division record square in the mouth (our only remaining home games), so we're gonna need some road magic.
