There is nothing I particularity like about Max Baucus, hope the dirtbag goes down hard but I doubt it. Ethically this is all in the gray area as every Senator has allowances and if they choose to they can hire only family members as staffers and pay them whatever they want.

Like you Karma is a bitch Max.

If I'm correct they get a budget of around $230,000 to run their office and staff so they do have limits.

You are not correct. Senators get a budget of roughly 2.7 to 4.5 million depending on the size their state.

You are correct and I found a great article about how very little is known about how they spend the money. Toward the end its real interesting how in their 4th qtr of the year spend spikes because if they do not spend the money they have to give it back. Reading this crap about these ass holes in Washington really ticks me off and I'm talking both parties. A big F.U. goes out to each every A hole up there and I hope their Christmas sucks.

Edit: I'd like to add a special FU a$$ holes to my fine state Sen. current and past.

I actually approve of him screwing his secretary. If they're busy screwing interms & assistants, they'll have less time to screw me. Besides, IMO this country needs more heterosexual behaviour, not less.

It happens on both sides so nothing shocks me. I just cannot figure out why the American people keep putting up with this crap.

It was sarcasm. You're right, both sides have scum...power corrupts, but the way and regularity of reporting both sides varies a lot.
