Re: Annual Predict the Final Roster Thread: 2010 Version

i don't see us keeping mcintosh and henson, one of them will be gone that will get you down to 53. i also see horton coming back and beating out reed for starter. and where can i see a bio of this warm body character you speak of?

Albright hasn't been resigned yet and I think I've heard that he won't be brought back. So with that said I assume they'll just bring in someone new.

I kept Heyer.

I guess wishful thinking on my part. I do think he is gone though. Not sure who the backup LT would be, but I think it will be a guy who can play guard too.

Crap, I forgot about Rinehart. Actually now that I think about it I would be estatic if the guys that ended up proving themselves as worthy NFL starters would make our line

T. Williams (21) - Rinehart (25) - Kory L. (25) - Cook (22) - Capers (25)
Average Age: 23.6

A more realistic version:
T. Williams (21) - Dockery (30) - Kory L. (25) - Rinehart (25) - Heyer (26)
Average Age: 25.4

Most likely version:
T. Williams (21) - Dockery (30) - Rabach (32) - BMW (30) - Hicks (31)
Average Age: 28.8

It'll be interesting to see if Baron is cut.

I was wondering about him since he's expendable when they picked Staffold, and he could be better in Shanahan's ZBS. Do you see him getting cut or us trading for him?

My guess is that he gets cut. They have three young, good tackles in Smith, Saffold, and Trautwein, and they didn't draft them because they are in love with Barron. Besides, Barron will make $2.4 mil., and that is a lot to pay your fourth tackle. Just a guess.

For the same reasons, he should be cheap to trade for, if it comes to that.

Yes I realize theres 54 but I can't decide who to cut. Candidates to me include Henson, Bryant - Peterson - or Green, and Tryon

Red - Indicates Rookie
Blue - Free Agent Aquisition
I'd cut Henson, Doughty (hoping we sign D. Sharper). I'd keep Peterson, and I don't know if BMW is a starting G in this league.

Re: Annual Predict the Final Roster Thread: 2010 Version

I know this is preliminary, but I think we'll bring in at least one veteran WR, ILB, and FS who will make the roster. Teams should start cutting some veterans this week and hopefully another teams trash can become our treasure. My biggest fear is that Jarmon ends up not making the team. I dont think hes versatile enough to really fit in our new defense, but i could be wrong.

We'll need a FA FS.
