Jets Pitt.
Good game. I had a feeling Jets would try to test those corners and that roth isn't a rookie after all. Jets will be drafting a kicker in the first round this year! It woulda been over long ago if they had one.

I wonder if they wish they still had John Hall.
How the hell did me miss both of those kicks?? If the Jets lose this game, he is freaking dead. This has been a unbeliveable game though.

I hope you are joking. You never use a draft pick on a kicker (or punter). You can get good kickers in the undrafted pool.

Look at what a power run game can do at the end of a game. We need an o-line that plays like that. Jets ran out of gas; Big Ben looked like a rookie today.
ANYBODY BUT PHILLY!!!

Jet's ran out of gas? What is this bullshit, the Jets had two oppurtunities to win it and their kicker screwed them twice!

3 OTs in 3 games will do that. I'm not saying the kicker didn't suck and blow the game. It's just that once that happened, the jets couldn't hold the Steeler run game anymore. Look, I was totally rooting for the jets, and I think they gave a great effort. But it was pretty obvious what was going to happen in OT and that's what occurred. Don't really know why Cowher threw the ball at all down the stretch, given the way Ben was throwing and the run game was clicking...

Besides the Redskins D I love watching the Jets D.
I feel they won that game on many levels. Feel kinda bad for Doug Brien. |

Yeah, the JETS had a pretty good day only to loose and Roethlisberger(sp) at times looked like a rookie. IMO as to why the JETS lost wasnt because Brein missed 2 field goals, but the JETS offense. Think about how the JETS scored there 17 points, a Moss punt return for a TD, a INT return for a TD and a field goal by Brein. Not once did the JETS offense get into the endzone. The Steelers D did what it does best and it shut down Martin and the JETS offense. So Roethlisberger(Sp) did look like a rookie but he atleast got the team in to the endzone.

Thats a good point Redskins8588. Now I agree with Dasel, the Jets defintley won that game, twice. I'll give Brien a pass on that first feild goal, because it seemed out of his range, but the second one is bad. However, you're defintley right, the Jets offense flat out sucks. It reminds me of how we scored our points at times this year, we had to be on like the 10 yard line to get in the endzone. They just couldnt muster up anything. I really think they have to take a hard look at Pennington this year. Now I've only seen him play a few games, so I cant provide the great insight that Jets fans could, but he dosent seem to be all hes cracked up to be. In fact, when I saw Q. Carter playing for them, he seemed to have the offnese moving a hell of alot better than Pennington. I'm not saying they should pull Chad, I'm just thinking he's proboly gonna be under a ton of pressure next season in NY.
Now I'm going to take the side that the Jets lost because of Briens feild goals. The offense/defense at least got them into feild goal range in a late 4th quarter pressure situation. You have got to make that kick. And if your lucky enough to get another shot at it, you sure as hell better make that one. The Jets lost cause this guy cant kick, but thats a good point about their offense.
