Scud's Studs (Week 11 vs Dallas)

Well, despite the outcome, a lot more positives this week than we've had in a while. Let's get right to it.

Ryan Kerrigan: What can I say? The guy is a total beast and brings it every week.

Stallworth/Gaffney: great job all day bailing out a team with zero running game.

Rex Grossman: the pick was bad, but overall he looked very poised and confident and spread the ball out to 9 different receivers. No question he's better for this team than John freaking Beck.

Pass Pro: was surprisngly good today. I thought Dallas was a lock for 4 or 5 sacks.

Sav Rocca: continues to be so valuable.

Brandon Banks: 2 very good returns today. About time.

Im gonna say Kyle did a better job, especially in the second half. Kept the cowboys off balance most of the game after the 1st quarter. Fletcher had another solid game.

This guy seems to be a force in the middle whenever he gets play time. I wish as the season wraps up, we could see a bit more of him. We know what Cofield has to offer already, I'm ready to see this kid.

Gafney should be listed first on that list. I thought with Moss sidelined the Dallas Defense would have had a better showing. But Gafney was KILLIN the Dallas secondary all friggin day.

I like what Siragusa said during the game. It was like the Dallas secondary was "waiting for the sack" and not covering as well as they should.

My list wasn't by performance, just the names that popped up at the time. Stallworth did make that nice TD catch and also made some other plays too.

Sorry, did not mean to infer your list was out of order or anything. Just ponting out that I think Gafney was the top performer in my opinion. Seems like every time the Skins needed to move the chains, Gafney was open or making great grabs.

Props to Stallworth for the TD catch, but he would have never been in that position had not Gafney provided those 3rd down conversions. He really stepped up in the absence of Moss and the inability of Davis to get the ball on third down.

I'll second all of the above.

I'll give props to the whole team for playing hard and not tossing in the towel. I was expecting an ugly one sided game today, instead we got a hard fought battle against a probable playoff team. I'll take it.

Perry Riley needs work but he is improving.

Dejon Gomes is raw and needs work but I think he's going to be a good one.

Not sure why it's taken a year and a half for Riley to get on the field. He looks like a player.

I just hope the team shows up for the next games just the same way they showed up for this game.

Re: Scud's Studs (Week 11 vs Dallas)

Our rookies in general.

I like how Gomes, Kerrigan, and Neild played.

It is looking like we had a very succesful draft.

Now if we can just get RGIII in the draft next year we are in business.

HAIL!!! Tough loss though, watched w/ 2 cowboys fans too.

Not being a homer here guys but how can Trent Williams not b mentioned?? Dude practically shut out the best PR in the NFL today.. He's a stud LT

I'd say also

Kerrigan
Rocca
Rexy - good job man
Gaffney - I predicted he'd lead us in td catches this yr
Stallworth
Oline
Choice for owning Newman on that one play

KS
Ms
And honestly the overall team to show up today and FIGHT w heart

TW was today...rare for Ware to be soooo....quiet!

AND courtesy of Lotus:
Perry Riley needs work but he is improving.

Dejon Gomes is raw and needs work but I think he's going to be a good one.

Happy to see these guys evolving....a bright side to having the entire starting lineup nicked and out.......
And the Makeshift O-line played remarkably well today. They deserve some love for sure...
The entire team could easily have rolled up and mailed it in....I'm proud of my Redskins today....
