Russel Wilson or Bob

In hindsight what would have been the better pick for the Skins? Remember Russell allows us to keep all our draft picks. We ahve 3 more first round picks assuming we drafted Wilson in the later rounds.

Just something to chew on.

I think I still take RGIII.

How is this even a topic for discussion? Other than rob Parker, no one would take Wilson over griffin.

Straight up yes but consider the draft picks we gave up. It is just a what if case.

You obviously thought it was worthy enough to click on it and comment.

RG3 is still the better QB and I think more upside. So RG3. Luck or Wilson more applicable imo.

The point is you get Wilson in the 3rd round. Luck and RGIII cost us 3 first rounders (to trade up to get them). Imagine you have Wilson and 3 more 1st rounders. I am asking is that better then having just RGIII.

i know, and yes you want the better QB regardless of the draft picks. Even put Luck in the equation...ceiling is still higher with RG3 over both Luck and Wilson.

Re: Russel Wilson or Bob

Wilson has been really really good, I think someone has to do a full analysis of him after the season. It's hard to read impartial stuff, because he either gets too much praise or overly criticized. I dunno, I think he tends to throw better out of the pocket, which makes alot of people nervous over the long term. He creates a ton of broken plays though, so that is nice and also hard to gauge over one season.

2 first rounders. They just swapped positions the first year.

We spent 3 first rounders and a second rounder to get Bob. Now that we know RG3 is actually that good when healthy, it remains to be seen if the trade was good to us.

We gave away 2 first rounders and swapped with them on the other first rounder.

^^^ Let's see GTripp weigh-in before making that assumption.

Personally, the picks were a lot to give up but I think the ceiling for Griffin is much higher than Wilson.

Re: Russel Wilson or Bob

I think the more relevant question facing the Skins is Orakpo or Rob Jackson?
