Preseason Quartberback!

Who will we see the most at QB in preseason?

Ramsey
Brunnel
or Campbell?

Personally this is where I'd like to see the rookie while giving P.Ramsey SOME playing time!

I think Gibbs will go through his ususal routine of playing time for his QB's. The big question is will Campbell show enough to be second string or third. I hope he is second, because Brunnell looks to be done.

Re: Preseason Quartberback!

Please go away BRUNELL!!!! I would love to see Campbell jump into the 2nd string. I think he is going to be special down the road. The kid knows how to win and that is the only thing he is used to. I like Gibb's idea of drafting winners. Its contagious.(spelling?)

Yeah, I'd love to see the rookie beating out Brunell for 2nd string. I REALLY don't like the idea of two HIGH-priced backups. I'd prefer at least, our draft pick to be #2.

I see Ramsey first quarter Brunnell second quarter and Campbell the second half with the camp fodder.

Hopefully Brunnell stays to form with the groubball drill he put our receivers through and Gibbs just makes Campbell #2

Campbell will not do much more than 4th quarter mopups. I hope Ramsey gets at least 2 quarters in each game. He needs all the work he can get.

Re: Preseason Quartberback!

Hopefully during the regular season Campbell can be doing 4th quarter mopups too...

I'd LOVE to see us average above 20 points this season.

Re: Preseason Quartberback!

I think 4th quarter mop up duty (if we put ourselves in that position) will be up to whoever wins the backup RB position.

Re: Preseason Quartberback!

I find it hard to believe that a 1st rd QB couldn't beat out Brunell. He was as pathetic a QB as I have ever seen last year. Wouldn't that be nice if Campbell doesn't beat him out we would be one hit away from Brunell running the offense again, scary!

My biggest fear is that Brunnell will look great in pre-season.

That could only be a plus not a negative. Gibbs will stick to his words unless Ramsey stinks up preseason realy bad and Brunell lights the world on fire. The worse case senario is the one that played out last year with both potentialy #1 QB playing like dirt durn preason.

Re: Preseason Quartberback!

Brunnell getting scrub duty, most likely the second quarter or second half QB will likely make him look better. You are right Firstdown better that both are playing well, but if Brunnell ends up the starter kiss Ramsey goodbye before mid season.

We all know that the chances of Brunell lighting it up this year are slim to none. I just think its not productive to wish he plays poorley because its not like were going to cut him and we are paying him.
