Little confused as to why we didn't go after Golden Tate. Maybe he and Roberts are the same guy. But every time I watched a Seattle game, Tate was making a play on teams or catching the ball. 13 million guarenteed. Can't believe Seattle sent him packing.

As for Denver, they are signing everyone with low first year cap numbers. They are banking on the cap rising in the next few years to make these contracts work. Same as the Saints with Byrd. That contract averages 9 mil per year but only holds something like a 4 mil cap hit this year. All of those contracts are heavily backloaded. |
