I didn't realize how good he really was. He was a major factor on a world championship team in Seattle even before he went to the Celtics and was part of those incredible teams.

damn, I was a huge fan growing up of the Celtics during the Larry Bird era. DJ will be missed. RIP

This is really heart breaking! I loved DJ, I grew up in Newport RI cheering him and the Celtics for years. If you think being a Redskins fan is tough, try cheering for the Celtics now. It has been a long couple of years.
