Am I the only one ready for the Wire?
I have watched Season 4 three times now. I can't wait for the final season!

I just watched the first season and now I'm hooked. I'm hoping to get the DVDs for Xmas, but if I don't I'll just buy them later in the week.
The only problem with the show is that since I now live in Baltimore I get pretty freaked out about whats going on around me. Oh well.

I think the Wire is the best show on television. I'm glad they're ending on a peak and not dragging it on until they jump the shark (like Sopranos).
I'm actually thinking of cancelling HBO after the Wire... they've been getting killed by Showtime in the original programming department... Entourage and Curb were kind of weak this year. |
