Fishing has very redneck potential and tends to lean to that population, but overall I don't think it's redneck.
I relate it to golf, a nice leisure activity for the summer that you don't have to take seriously to enjoy. It's an excuse to get together with some buddies and drink some beers and enjoy the nice weather. |
