Another one. GTFO
I was saying ideally, down the road scenario. The other option is to write off our 2014 3rd pick. It would be nice to get 2 starters instead of one and Schreff is better suited inside than Moses.

We have been wasting mid round draft picks on guards who never pan out for how long? Any member here could provide a list as long as my arm. Yet our starters our always FA castaways from other teams. Stop wasting picks and invest a 1st rounder on a guard already.

Am I understanding you that Moses won't be back by week 9? Just wondering.

"Stop it.

Who gives you a starting caliber RT in a trade? And how do you propose we fit said player under the cap.

This isn't Madden, GTFO with this crap."

KI meet Schneed. A little abrasive? Forthright yes. Knowledgeable? Definitely.

Glad to see all these linemen in camp and a lot of potential talent with some good college production. Hope they cab translate it here to push these guys.

Keim weighs in on his week 1 starters:

Washington Redskins mailbag Part 1: A guess at starting offensive line - Washington Redskins Blog - ESPN

He said it wouldn't stun him to see Chester move to center.

Is Chester moving to the middle being talked about elsewhere?

He is bigger than Corey, but Corey played darn good last year.

Going against those 2 OLs is tough. I knew they were good but wouldnt have guessed 1-2.

We gotta keep improving that front 7 on D to matchup with the Eagles and Boyz OL.

And we gotta keep improving our OL.

No he'll surely be back in action by week 9, in fact I haven't heard anything indicating that he won't be back by week 1.

But Lisfranc's are notorious for slow recoveries. It's not that they take forever to heal to the point where you can't get back on the field, it's that players take forever to regain their full capabilities. They take place at a spot in the foot that's crucial to pushing off with force. Some guys never get the same explosion back, others bounce back to their former selves as soon as they're healthy enough to be on the field. But most get back on the field and then have to work their way back gradually to regain their same explosiveness.

With a tackle you'd worry about his ability to anchor his foot in the ground and drive block somebody in the run game. It's typical to come back from it fully healed, but at only a % of what you used to be capable of. It takes time to get back to yourself.

Same with ACLs (unless your name is Adrian Peterson).
