It was nice to see the RG not only hold his ground but move the line of scrimmage and effectively get to the second level.
On the whole they looked solid, much better then last year already (but then again I wondered why Moses wasn't playing RT last year).

Agree. An old PGA golf pro I took lessons from often told me that athletes at any level have to "create their own reality". RG3 is creating his own reality and I dont know why anyone would have a problem with that.

Problem is RG3's reality only exists in fantasy land. He is starting to appear delusional, you cannot help or coach someone who doesn't think they have a problem, plain and simple. Kind of like if you are running a business and have an employee who is lacking and needs improvement yet that employee thinks they
are the slickest thing since sliced bread and is smarter than the owner.

RG3 is saying things Tom Brady is too humble to say. Robert appears to
be intelligent, but some of the crap that comes out of his mouth makes you wonder.

We need to move on from this some people will never like RG3 for whatever reason. By all accounts he's putting in the work.

RGIII is his own worse enemy! IF He would say very little and play good that would stop ALL his critics..but NOOOO…He continues to say things that puts a target on his back..can you imagine how cocky he would be IF he truly was the best QB in the league..they don't make a helmet that big!

Yep and it would likely be no big deal without his history of media snafus and all his self promotion. I am not sure if he will ever get it media wise, but hopefully he plays as good as he talks and this unnecessary distraction will fade away.

One Brian Mitchell explains in detail why he does:

...and here we are today.

I'll be glad when this fucking circus is over.

I've never liked RG3's talking. But in the end all that matters to me is his performance.

What he says, and what the media says about what he says, only fills in the gaps in the offseason with a bunch of noise.

I don't really care what he said and I don't really care what B Mitch has to say about it (even if he's right). I just want to see Robert perform well.

Re: Robert Griffin III ready to turn career around with Redskins in 2015

People need to chill the F out about RG3. If works out this year, great, if he doesn't, Scot McC is building a team this year, which can help/accommodate a new QB in the future. I don't think QB is the most important positing on this team right now (yet) and McC is just trying to get by in that position while he builds a complete team.

Also, all this overhype about his comments show me that A.) people don't know how to f'ing read; and B.) RG3 or most athletes don't learn that their comments will always be taken out of context.

I agree that his performance on the field is what counts but I also think that he's making it harder for himself by making public statements that can be taken out of context by the media to make unflattering headlines and create controversy. That's why I think it's important for him to watch what he says in public.

In the short term, what if he has a poor game against Detroit tonight? If he does, the media will eat him alive, even though they created the controversy to begin with!

Of course its fantasy land, that what creating one's own reality is.
