Re: Kirk Cousins 24/7 thread
Nope. Just be straight up, that's all I ask for. I don't need any sugar coating or spinning.

Re: Kirk Cousins 24/7 thread
It's not a good look especially after yesterday's poor performance. Didn't waste anytime did he?

Re: Kirk Cousins 24/7 thread
I guarantee that Cousin's camp is going to come to the table with this, he got $19m this year, the tag for next year is $24m, and in 2018 it's $34m. So that's 3 years at $77m or $25.6m per year.
In the end I think a deal worth $22-23m per year makes sense. |

Re: Kirk Cousins 24/7 thread
Yeah, I could see that. We'll see how it works out. Hopefully if he gets that, we bet right and he takes the next step during big games next year.

And in college he won 3 out of 4 bowl games and played very well in all 3.As a senior after leading Texas to a 13-0 record probably would have won his 4th bowl game and the national championship if he doesnt get hurt after going 2 for 2. So thats all I got

Re: Kirk Cousins 24/7 thread
You can tell that this whole demeanor he has about staying with the Redskins is definitely personal. I think he feels slighted and unwanted by Dan/Bruce and he more than wants to stick it to those two assholes. (especially Dan) Let's be real, it's Dan who stopped Cousins career from advancing sooner due to his love for RG3, and even had to have Scott stick up for him to even remain on the team. (otherwise he would have been traded)

Kirk Cousins 24/7 thread
Who cares about anything other than Kirks play on the field, and how much money it warrants going forward.
That being said it is crazy that anyone thinks he has been anything other than 110% professional about the whole matter. Also Colt is not the answer at all. If KC leaves, there better be a better option than Colt. |

I do not think he is bitter about the RG-3 situation. Lets face it. Griff was the number two pick, and he was the roy. He has to understand that you do not just give up on that after year one? I think Kirk certainly plays with a chip on his shoulder, but that is a good thing. |

I think they will use the non-exclusive or transition tag on him. That will cost less and is someone takes him we get two first round picks.

Re: Kirk Cousins 24/7 thread
This is a good breakdown from Cooley on Cousins play this year. (per game)
![]() https://twitter.com/D_Wright_One/sta...86640511610881 The inconsistency is probably why they aren't sold on him entirely.

Re: Kirk Cousins 24/7 thread
I'm just wondering how other QBs out there would compare on that Cooley scale? I bet a lot of Pro Bowlers would have similar ratings.
