I agree with Bozzy, this season is over for the Redskins. There is too much ground to make up. Even is Gibbs is a hall of fame coach, the players still have to make the plays ...and it seems like they can't, especially the secondary. Can the skins defend a pass anymore? This whole game it seemed like the only passes that they defended successfully were the ones Collins was off target with or the one the receivers dropped.

If they don't make the playoffs, I could really care less about who they beat. I'm not one of those people who will say "I don't care about our record...just beat Dallas, cause that's a losing attitude." They could have gone 10 and 6 and lost all 6 divisional games as long as they make the playoffs, I couldn't care less.

This was one of those games we HAD to win. If we can't beat a shitty Raiders team we don't have the game to beat anyone.

The NFL doesn't have a lottery.

I think that it's not only our record but our manner of losing that's pissing everyone off. It's frustrating to lose close games that we have a good shot at winning.

Re: Game Thread: Raiders @ Skins 11/20/05

It's even more frustrating to lose games (like Tampa) where we were in control and the opposing QB is a new guy.

As I said, I don't really know how much more of this I can take before I just quit watching. Some days it seems like I give more to the Redskins than they give back.

And our pass D? There is no expletive strong enough, seriously.

Anyone have any ideas about why we abandoned the run in the 4th quarter, nursing a 3 point lead?

Yeah, apparently Williams was calling the defense like this: Springs, you take the weak side flat. Harris, you take the strong side flat, and Taylor, you cover everything over eight yards.

"The Draft lottery" is in the NBA. You just pick in the order you finish in the NFL. There is no "lottery" in the NFL.

Re: Game Thread: Raiders @ Skins 11/20/05

8-8 is top of my wish list. Team gets worse every game. Every year my heart gets ripped from my chest. I have been a big Skins fan for the last 12 years with very little payback. Sorry, but I have to cry myself to sleep now. Let Campbell play some, see if he's the future for us.

There is no draft lottery. That's in the NBA. The NFL lottery is based soley on record.
