We can use the franchise tag on Payne for a year if needed. He is playing too well to just let him walk and hope Mathis can return healthy and get anywhere near replacing that production. You're right, our d-line is a problem, and we should keep it as such through at least 2023.

Re: Houston has a problem post game
Wentz was bashed WAY More on this board than TH ever has.. In fact most of us all agree that he's a gamer with heart and a good leader. The issue is you can't hide the lack of arm talent with him, Sam Howell could be a better version of TH and if he is why be mad at that? If he's not then draft a QB in 2024

The last time the defense looked this good was 04/05. I haven't seen a suffocating performance like that in at least a decade.

Re: Houston has a problem post game
Was William Jackson just the worst player in the NFL? He stops playing and the defense starts crushing it.

Re: Houston has a problem post game
The DL is great but the biggest surprise has been Jamin Davis. He's really improved

Re: Houston has a problem post game
I had been crying to get rid of since last year, that fucker cost us some games. It was a no brainer, same goes for Wentz. Waste of $$$

Re: Houston has a problem post game
Let’s not forget the back ups, Toohill, Smith-Williams, Obada, the dumb white Jumpy Geathers (he’s been a great replacement for Matt I. and will make an impact).

Re: Houston has a problem post game
Wentz is yet another example of Snyder's meddling. I can't believe after all of the QB blunders he's had his hands on, he never learns.

PFF's highest graded Commanders from yesterday's win:
- Jonathan Allen: 90.2 - Brian Robinson: 86.0 - Montez Sweat: 84.0 - Kendall Fuller: 82.8 - Kamren Curl: 82.0

Prior to this weekend PFF had Curl and Forrest rated as the No 1 and 2 safeties in thd league this year. Whether PFF ratings mean anything is another question |

Re: Houston has a problem post game
Every NFL team uses the data so it has to mean something to them at least
