Re: Farce-uleta
He better step up. Whatever it is, it seems like whenever I notice him, he's either missing a tackle or blowing a coverage. Weak.

Next year, drafting a pass rusher in the first.

Re: Farce-uleta
Anyone else stopped wondering why he was beaten out by a rook for the Ram D?

Re: Farce-uleta
Arch got beat on their first drive for the long pass. He's got to do a lot better. I trust gw w/ this.

Re: Farce-uleta
To me he hasn't looked outclassed in terms of skill. He has looked clueless. The times we can all remember watching him race after someone was because he over played the run and got beat down the field. He looks like he has no feel for the scheme. I can't believe that is the case since GW is so big on guys understanding the scheme before they play though. Maybe he is just making mental mistakes. All I know is that he has not made any plays yet.

Re: Farce-uleta
Arch played in a pretty basic cover 2 his whole career in St Louis. I think he will just need a few more weeks to where he reacts to plays instead of thinking about it. I am sure Joe and greg did their research on him and I dont think they would pick someone that is that stupid. Joe and Greg want smart players. I think he will work out, just needs a little time. Pierson getting hurt really trusted him into the starting role. He wasn't going to start, Pierson had the starting role and Arch was rotating in and out.

Re: Farce-uleta
On a side note, Carter was drawing CRAZY double teams yesterday. He was a ball hair away from his first sack!

Re: Farce-uleta
If he's getting doubled, Daniels (or someone!) has got to step up. We have to get more front four pressure. It helps with EVERYTHING in a defense.

Re: Farce-uleta
It was a horrible and unecessary signing. I thought so when they did it and I have seen nothing to change my mind. It was the one signing that made no sense at all...completey unnecessary. I guess resigning Ryan Clark did not seem as sexy back when we were throwing money around.

Re: Farce-uleta
Lets not get ahead of ourselves here....we need Springs back!! Once Springs is back our whole defense will change. More Blitzes better coverage...Arch should be just fine!!

Re: Farce-uleta
We Definetly Made A Mistake With Arch. He Over Plays The Run And Under Plays The Pass. I Think We Should Try Rump At Safety When Springs Gets Back Into The Lineup...

Re: Farce-uleta
Yes, but everyone else on defense is so much better than AA. He really stinks when compared to how awesome Carlos Rogers, Kenny Wright, Andre Carter, Mike Rumph, Sean Tayl..errrr...actually he does stink compared to Sean but he's the exception. Give him about 2 or 3 more games as our Offense really revs up and our Defense gets more comfortable and then if he performs worse than all of our other starters we can collectively bash him.
