thats hard to read so ill go look it up. Our defense has kicked ass though.

Of course, this is startign to look liek the year under Lewis, where we had the number five defense. Rankings are based solely on yards, and since our offense turns the ball over so much right now it makes the yardage less. Of course this isnt really true, because ramsey likes to turn it over inside the ten...but brunell would turn it over on our side of the field.

Our defense has been awsome. They have let in less touchdowns than our offense (2 to 1 ) In fact, the one touchdown they did let in was off of a turnover. Hopefully this group keeps up, cause they can carry us to a ok record before our offense starts to click.

Points scored against our Defense: 16 - 10 off of turnovers, and 3 from a 3 & out after a long kick-off return.

Not bad.....for the D that is!

we're #1 in yards per game (223), yards per play (3.7, tied with miami), 3rd downs made (4), 3rd down % (15.4, no ones close to this), tied for first with 0 4th downs made....
great numbers overall.

Depends on how he gets his 100. Dallas can afford to give up one or two long runs to Portis. On the season, Portis has 18 runs (of 48 total - that's nearly 38%) of 1 yard or less. He can spring a big one, but the Washington OL isn't good enough right now to give him the consistent running lanes he had in Denver.

Portis managed 148 rushing yards against Tampa Bay, but the Skins only scored 16 points. Despite all his rushing yards, Washington's longest drive in that game was 4:52, resulting in a FG. Of their 13 drives, only 5 were more than 5 plays.

Washington's offense continued to struggle against New York. Of Washington's 15 drives, only two consisted of more than 5 plays. Washington held the ball for 5:15 and 5:30 on those drives. The next longest drive was 2:14.

Simply put, you're looking at an offense that can't string together a series of good plays with any consistency.

Given that, I think Dallas will get plenty of opportunities on offense. Washington's defensive numbers are exaggerated because they have played two woeful opponents. Tampa Bay managed only 6 points against Seattle, and the Giants managed only 17 against Philly

I think Dallas will load up on the run and let Ramsey and your offense try and beat us via the pass

Our run game has gotten off to a slow start ...cant deny that

George is gonna give ya around 3 yards a pop.. Richie Anderson back this week is a help...but the guy who gives us the speed and the big play ability is ReShard Lee...and he's 222 LBS

And the best thing (as opposed to Julius Jones) is he runs North/South and has good cutback ability and good elusiveness
