Re: Redskins vs. Cowboys predictions

If we play conservative we definitely loose, and Ill say the score would be somewhere around: DAL 35, WAS 21

BUT, the only hope that I am holding onto is that the offensive strides we took last week will develop into leaps and bounds this week. If Campbell plays like he did last week, if the line can give him time, if we play hurry up again, and if we "open it up," as they say, and take more shots down field then maybe...maybe we can keep up with Dallas, and win:

WAS 35, DAL 30

(But I seriously doubt it at this point)

Hey To all the Dallas fans who come to this site if our team has this much drive I would start your 2nd stringers and let Romo stand on the side lines and just smile as they 2nd's run up the score. Or hey just for a laugh tell your Dallas buddies to come read these post for a goof laugh at what I thought were Skin fans. Thats what they would do if it was a team we were playing and saw post like these. But hey they are keeping it real.
Dallas is 8-1. They're undefeated in the division. Their only loss is to the best team the NFL has seen in decades, maybe ever. They score a lot. We're going into their house. We don't score a lot, we're riddled with injuries, we're 1-2 in the division, and we have a tendency to give games away. I love my skins, but explain to me how I'm a pansy for picking Dallas to win??

Like Daseal says, does not having unrelenting optimism make me less of a fan??

I think we will beat Dallas in OT this time. I'm saying 21-24 Redskins. DO NOT count out Moss just yet I have a sneaky feeling he will be activated last minute and have his way with Newman and Williams, he is definately due for a big game. Springs and GW's scheme usually do well against T.O., even when he was with the eagles(I'm saying on average not all the time). Its going to be close just watch

Re: Redskins vs. Cowboys predictions

After a stiff double shot of the kool-aid, chased down by a pint of the kool-aid, followed by a giant bong hit filled with the kool-aid, I'm going with the homer prediction of:

Skins 24
Crygirls 23

Pass the Kool-Aid!!!

Redskins 35
Dallas 7

Tony Romo gets knocked out by Laron Landry 5 minutes into the first quarter when he hits him with a safety blitz and TO implodes and starts blaming everyone but himself for six dropped passes, it's nine games into the season, he's about due to begin his self-destruct sequence, this game starts the clock.

Because on any given day in football any team can win a game. Just look at college football this year or the year that Dallas had only one win against us and we won the SB. I have never gone into a game or watched a game that I thought there was no chance of winning. It happens every day that a underdog wins and so there is always hope. I never seen so many SKins fans throwing in the towel to of all teams Dallas. We saw it again last night that a unranked team Arizona beat Oregon I beat Arizona always thought they had a chance to win that game. Is it a up hill battle? Yes, but there is always the chance for the win an until its over I'm not throwing in the towel. So if you give up before the game ever starts yes you are a panzy and you will lose every time.

College football and NFL football are 2 totally different levels. But NFL-wise, I mean, what are the chances of the Dolphins beating the Pats? Yeah they MIGHT. But they probably WONT. Come on down from that pedestal.

Nothings wrong with drinking the kool-aid but then there's losing touch with reality and the reality is, is that injuries are killing us and Dallas is on a roll. Of course we MIGHT win, and I hope to hell we do, but considering the way we're playing lately, the 2nd half letdowns, the injuries and the inconsistency; We probably won't.

What the pedestal that says we have a chance to win any given Sunday. OK college is different and in the NFL always the best team wins every game.

The best teams DO tend to win every game. Granted that average teams do come around and beat the best teams but it's only because the average teams are working on all cylinders for that one game. Can you say with the killer injuries we have faced over the past 8 weeks that we're working on all cylinders? No. I'm not saying we're not going to win or that we're incapable of winning the game. We have pulled Hail Mary's out our ass before and I know we can do it again, but the odds are stacked against us. The kool-aid drinkers see these odds and throws them out the window. The average schmo like me, that only drinks the kool-aid every now and then, sees the odds, the injuries, the 2nd half meltdowns and goes, "Oh shit."

The fact of the matter is, we have a very slim chance of winning. Whilst the chance is always there, it's just a matter of are we going to seize it? Lately that answer is no and we've played very mediocre teams (Minus the Pats). Against a very strong Cowboys team that chance becomes even slimmer.

I don't think how people feel about the odds of us winning even matters around here. It's all for shits and giggles. I don't think anyone here would even bother trying to predict odds if they didn't bleed burgandy and gold. Isn't that what matters at the end of the day anyway?

If player had that that attitude they would never win. Yes odds are against us but until we lose the game I have all the faith that we can win. I do not even like Kool Aid I just believe that a positive attitude beats a negative attitude everytime.
