What about Bill Bellichick, Little Dan could buy out the 6 or so years of his contract, and give him over 10 million a year. This sounds like our wonderfull owner. Stranger things have happened.

I don't wan't Fassel...but I think its too late for that. I feel bad for him kind of. He's walking into a shit storm with the fans...and he is going to have a lot of pressure. The way I see it, he basically has to get 10 wins or he's out.

I loved him he was a players coach and they loved him too.He got more out of nothing than any coach I can remember. The knock on him was that he was not a very disaplined coach .It was a lot of BS ,he treated the players like grown men and expected them to act like it.He is very good with young QB's and would do right by JC.They won the NFC east twice and was a wild card once, with 1 NFC championship and 1 Super bowl apperance in 7 years.

Re: So Now Who Do You Want?

I've had the chance to meet Fassel a couple of times. I like the guy a lot as a person. I have mixed views on him as a head coach, but I think he's one of the better proven head coaches out on the market right now. Question is, should we take a chance on someone unproven?

Re: So Now Who Do You Want?

A lot of us pretty much want someone besides fassel, but the bottom line is he will be our next HC. Some of you have mentioned that DS is waiting for the dust to settle from the Williams debacle, I think you guys are correct. If Fassel becomes HC (which I don't want) I will give him 2 years to take us to the SB, if he doesn't then I say NEXT. Snyder doesn't want to bring in an unproven coach with the talent on this team especially being a few players away from the SB. Think about it? Whether you like it or not Fossil will be the next HC.

Re: So Now Who Do You Want?

I voted Spagnuolo, because Grimm wasn't on the list. I vote for a new OWNER! Didn't Dano learn anything from Joe? If he had half the class, and a quarter of the humility of Joe, this team we love would be a contender every year! Just my 2 cents.

Re: So Now Who Do You Want?

What I want is for the Redskins fans to do something LEGAL to show Danny Boy how upset we are! How about posting signs on River Road by his Potomac fortress' entrance? What about picketing the Redskins' front office? Maybe someone could sell T-shirts on the street corners that we could buy with "Danny, get out of town!" Or sell a magnet for our cars or something. He needs to feel the heat of our wrath somehow.

How about picketing in front of Redskins Park?
