Now they are just "another team". But I give my props to them in 2004. They had to go through my team and they did. Its was a fun season to watch and I like forward to 2005.

How come there's never any talk of a White Sox curse? I mean these guys haven't won since they were stripped of the title in 1919. So in fact the last time they won was 1906, longer than the Cubs or Red Sox (before tonight)

The White Sox and Cubs have not come as close as the Red Sox have the past 86 years. The Red Sox have had a few WS Game 7s and none of us were alive when the White Sox and Cubs were involved in any WS Game7s. |

What a crappy series. My Cardinals laid the biggest egg in the world series in a long time. Oh well, I'm a pretty on edge fan with the Cards, not like I am with the SKins. If thta was the Skisn doing that hte past four games, I'd be dead by now.

yeah, it wasn't really that close... sox went on a 7 game streak, but you can't be surprised that the winner of the clash of the gigantic pocketbooks would win out...
the yanks/red sox series sure was good though, i'm guessing its going to be for a while to come too... |

The sox have two pitchers (maybe 3) in a contract year. If they lose Pedro and Lowe they may be in trouble, depending on how consistant Lowe stays next year.

I have to congratulate the Red Sox. They made history this year, and they deserved to win it. Heres the reason why they won it....4 pitchers (Schilling, Pedro, Foulke, and Lowe) all only gave up 4 ER's in 28 innings in the WS against probably the best lineup in baseball. Just goes to show that the key to winning a WS is all about the pitching. Just like in Football, defense wins championships.
