DCPSR Player of the Game
DC Pro Sports Report would like theWarpath members, our partners, to pick our Player of the Game. We'll leave the voting go on until Wednesday and then the winner takes the weekly recognition.
Since I am not quite sure how to do a poll here yet (hey, it's new digs, give me time) just state it here in this thread and I will tally on Wednesday

Portis. The guy ran with absolute authority and heart today, battling through some obvious painful muscle strains and cramps.

Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
I really can't imagine this team even being .500 if CP was not on it. Besides the obvious running threat, he catches, blocks etc. When he is not in, or if the other team stops him, our offense just bogs down.

Comcast gave it to Sellers, and I could see that, except for the one drop! I still am aggravated he missed it... (yes i think it was a good call)

Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
no doubt its portis. 143 yards on a bum knee, running from our own 4 yard line all the way to seattle territory to kill the clock. he was fantastic

Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
Without CP we would have lost this game. He came back in after taking a huge hit early in the game.
He is carrying the offense on his shoulders. |

Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
CP for sure. but laRon's presence influenced alot of hasselbecks passes especially that last pick by springs. he threw it to the outside bc he saw laRon closing in for the knock out hit

Re: DCPSR Player of the Game
CP w/out a doubt. CP is one tough as nails SOB. I love the way he just slams it up in the pile when there seems to be nothing there. CP isn't the biggest RB in the NFL, but no one plays with more heart and no plays more physical than he does.
