Re: Braylon Edwards trade talk
Then you guys take him!The Giants don't feel this is as big a deal as everyone outside the organization.I'll be fine if we just draft someone and go on from there.Reese is a very good GM ..............I trust him,he hasn't screwed up yet.

Re: Braylon Edwards trade talk
Your football knowledge creditability is in serious question...you might want to watch more Cards games.

Re: Braylon Edwards trade talk
I agree. Boldin has been a heck of a receiver. He runs good routes, catches well, and is as tough as nails. But he lacks the burning speed to stretch the field that you want in a #1.

Re: Braylon Edwards trade talk
An ass like the one you guys just released? I know the Giants are not known for having headcases, but between Shockey and Burress (and some may say Tiki) your team has picked up a couple of pricks lately.

Smootsmack:
I hear they are offering a third round pick and the Chiefs want a second round pick. That's supposedly the hang-up on the deal. Matty: Agree that Braylon Edwards looks a lot like Rod Gardner II - - and to be clear, that is NOT a good thing. NO way the Skins should trade for him even if the asking price is a third and a fifth - - which is less than what the Giants are supposedly offering. HOW-EVAH, based on last year and what we saw on the field of play on Sundays, the Skins might - I said might - have Rod Gardner II on their roster as we speak. Malcom Kelly dropped several balls that hit him on both hands. So, looking forward, how long does Kelly get before having that label hung on him permanently? [I'm not ready to do it just yet, but the drops were there last year on Sunday when it mattered...] Everyone: As I said elsewhere, IF the price for Boldin is a first and a third - - as rumored - - then I would not pay that price. Boldin is a fine WR; he is much better than Edwards. But he is not worth that price at 29 years old with an injury history that has only allowed him to play in 16 games twice in his six year career.

Re: Braylon Edwards trade talk
I agree we dont need Edwards . The Edwards is the only playmaker on the Browns roster, with no longer have K2. You would think the Browns would want to keep their best offensive player. If the Browns don't wont him there is no way the Redskins should trade for him. The Browns have to know more about him then any other team.

Re: Braylon Edwards trade talk
Then Like I said Matty ...you guys take him.We just got rid of a prima donna reciever and we don't need another TO type ...that is all about me and not the team.Boldin(speed ain't his middel name) had 1 good year without LF ,2003 as someone here said...............6 years ago and lets not forget the cards have not been a powerhouse for years .......things fell the right way for them.If I have to I'll take Edwards over Boldin anytime and twice on Sunday .What makes him(Boldin) good ....maybe having a QB that can't run or LF on the otherside to go to?
