Sellers Unhappy

http://dcprosportsreport.com/2009/04/redskins-mike-sellers-unhappy-with-contract.html

Quote:
Redskins FB Mike Sellers is unhappy and not participating in voluntary workouts. Seller made the Pro Bowl last year and doesn't feel he is getting paid what he deserves.

Re: Sellers Unhappy

When he's able to consistently power it in from inside the 1 yd line and not fumble, then he can bitch about his contract. Until then STFU and play.

Re: Sellers Unhappy

Well, like the article said - Sellers chose wrong time to be unhappy with his contract.. Otherwise, I understand Sellers' feelings, after all he made the pro bowl and cemented Portis' yardages.. He should be making more money, I guess..

Sign him to a year extension, give him more money and tell Zorn to be creative and use Sellers more often to make the money useful..

Re: Sellers Unhappy

C'mon really!! Sellers is good but he can't ask for CRAZY money because he is just a FB...we can always find a run blocking FB, plus sellers is in his mid 30's.

Re: Sellers Unhappy

My whole point was three things about Sellers situation.

1. Bad time for salary cap reasons.

2. YOU SIGNED IT

3. Start winning, then ask for more. That goes for all of them. Winners get paid.

I don't like designing an offense around your fullback's salary.

Re: Sellers Unhappy

If I'm correct I'm sure Sellers agent made all the money when he signed a new deal and now Drew Rosenhaus wants to make some money by getting him a new contract.

yup thats my inclination too, drew just wants a cut from his new player and the best way to do that is ask for a new deal. drew is a POS and i rarely hate on people.
