I think the Giants have the better offense right now, by virtue of being the top offense last year. But I think the Redskins are bound to make a big jump offensively, and unless the Giants offense stays right where it established itself last year, I think the Redskins might have the better offense.

As for special teams, our punters' nickname is Hunter the Punter. How cool is that?

You have the better power ranking, but we play Detroit and St. Louis while you play Arizona and Minnesota. Could be an interesting finish, given that schedule quirk.
Giants will kill Arizona, but seem to always lose to Minnesota. Giants punter is still Jeff Feagles, not great with distance, but he'll keep the ball inside the 5.

Wasn't happy about losing him. They gave him a lot of money last year to stay, but I guess these guys want to be head coaches. I have a feeling he is going to be another in the long list of coaches who were great coordinators, but not so great as a head coach. Time will tell. New DC is Bill Sheridan, was the LB coach the past few years. If I had the choice, would have promoted Waufle, the DLine coach.

I have to give credit where credit is due.

This is the jerk-off post of the week and it's only Thursday. Well done!

It's just fascinating to read that a Giants fan regards themselves with such a great sense of self-worth. You are so very intelligent.

When you look in the mirror does your head look abnormally large?

I'm not talking about how big it looks when you are wearing that Giants helmet that you have under your bed.

You know the one that you bought just to feel the sensation of actually putting a football helmet on for the first time in your life.

He said this about an x coach it seems it also applies to their fans:

Seriously. I feel badly for anyone who spends their time on an opposing team's site tirelessly defending their team/players to a mass of fans who can't stand them. Talk about running up hill on a treadmill. I wouldn't be caught dead on a Cowboys/Giants/Eagles board trying to convince a bunch of people who hate the Redskins that our players are good. Talk about wasted energy.

Nice gay references. Not surprising from a fan of the New Jersey team.

Our DL will destroy your OL too. Our secondary is stronger. We have more weapons on offense. Will be a good game, not the homo-erotic blowout you're dreaming about.

Oh yeah...

I actually like several of the guy's who come to this site as they give an outside opinion. Its when they talk down to Skins or Members that I start to have a problem with them. When I say talk down I don't mean it in a sense if they say something like "It looks like JC holds on to the ball a little to long" its more when they talk down to people like they are better.

Anyways, I wanted them to go after Edwards or Boldin, as well. Even with Edwards dropped balls, a DC still has to account for him and respect him lilke they did for Burress. Opens up the rest of the offense. However, the Giants believe Hixon and Smith are ready to take over. Boldin, I don't think Arizona really wanted to trade him. I think it was a bunch of posturing and their demands were ridiculous. Similar to the Blue Jays and Roy Halladay. Losing Ward is not going to be as big as it seems. Bradshaw was a huge part of the running game in 2007, but was not used much in the offense in 2008. He'll be able to step in. They also have Danny Ware who would be a #2 on most teams ready to compete for the #3 spot if they decide to go with the 3-headed monster attack.

Last year, it wasn't just the loss of Burress. The DLine was also banged up. In 2007, and the first 10-11 games of 2008 they had a rotation of dlinemen to keep everyone fresh. That is why they added Canty, and Bernard, and with getting Umenyiora back, they are stacked again. A DE rotation of Umenyiora, Tuck, Tollefson, Kiwanuka, Canty and a DT rotation of Canty, Alford, Robbins, Bernard, Tollefson will give opposing OLinemen problems.
That's quite an assumption thinking you would be allowed into such a forum. Maybe if you weren't so arrogant you would be better received here.

Re: Heyer Injured

I actually heard rumors that the Giant players tried to get frisky with other players while at the bottom of a big pile up. At first I did not think it was true but maybe the story has legs. I also heard that the coaches have restricted players from picking up the soap while taking a shower.

I agree. I often enjoy Giantone's or sandtrapjack's banter. Coggs, on the the other hand, seems like just a jerk who does not know as much as he thinks he does.

Re: Heyer Injured

I love the abuse of coggs but The Giants won the Super Bowl a few years ago. They beat one of the best teams of all time in that game. Their defense held down the best offense of all time. That team the Giants beat happened to beat the living shit out of us fifty something to 7.... and that game sent our fan base in an up roar cause Belichick didn't call off the dogs. The Giants have been better than us the last few years. We really shouldn't be talking too much smack.
