Nope it is a speaker. But if you look very close you can see that the hing on the door is curved around to inside the engine compartment. The rest of the door was removed with the jaws of life. Those HID Head Lights are toast some where in front of the car.

The speaker also may have been pushed there by the rescue teams when extracting Chad. Good to read the article and I am glad that this accident wasn't the result of Drunk Driving or anything.

Kudos for the way the Giants and the NFL are helping out the family as well as Mr. Jones.

it looks like the garden district since the trolley car is going down the center of the road. this is a pretty confusing lil area to drive with travel lanes on both sides of the trolley cars so cars have to watch for other cars as well as trolleys when you are crossing or turning onto the street.

when we got off the trolley, a lady who was getting off too almost got blasted by a car. i mean, she was a couple feet away from me, car missed her by an inch if that.

dang that is horrible that he might lose his foot or leg. man that is just terrible.
from the espn article.

"Jones lost control of his Range Rover reportedly because he was trying to get off streetcar tracks on the road. Jones was cited with careless operation of a vehicle and police are still investigating the accident."

I only spent a half day walking around the garden district but when you see the operation of the antique trolley cars running down the center of two lanes of traffic, about a half mile from bourbon street, accidents are going to happen.

thats great that they didnt have to amputate his foot. real glad to hear his sprits are high. im not a religous person but i do believe in positive vibrations. being positive helps healing.

On the simple fact I hate to agree with 1st; I agree it is a speaker.
