Re: Richie Anderson cut by cowturds
I heard he just had some neck surgery and is going to be out for up to five more months, so by the time he got into camp, he'd be really behind already. I dont think he's all that great (except when its time to play the Redskins of course, then he looks like an all star).

Re: Richie Anderson cut by cowturds
I don't think he would add anything to our roster that we don't already have, especially with his neck in that condition.

Re: Richie Anderson cut by cowturds
hes a good reciever out of the backfield, but hes old, i think like 34 or something and we have a pretty loaded backfield now, so ill pass...he could be a good locker room guy or something though

Re: Richie Anderson cut by cowturds
Portisis a good receiver out of the backfield. That's all we need. Signing Anderson would be similar to our WR situation.

I'd rather not have ANY former cowboys on our team. They come with a taint.

Re: Richie Anderson cut by cowturds
He doesnt really fill any need for us, but he is from the DC area so it wouldn't surprise me if he at least inquired about a job with the Redskins.

Re: Richie Anderson cut by cowturds
Thanks, but no... June 1st cuts will likely be the next time you see the Skins make a move. Looking for a defensive end.

![]() All Anderson would do is take valuable touches from our young players. Cooley is doing well in the backfield with Portis, and we drafted two RB/FBs this year.
