Trotter is the best blitzer, Barrow is the best all around MLB of the group, he had what, 179 tackles last year. Barrow is 34 though. Mitchell is the cheapest and the least headache of all three, getting up there in age as well.

I guess I think they are all about the same; maybe Barrow by a little. Barrow and Trotter just have better press and none of them seem more than an adequate starter

Barrow the best right now, maybe another year or two.
Trotter the best potential, rember he was still coming off of the knee injury last year and now has a good d-coordinator. Mitchell the best for the money, very solid player and not costly. |

barrow, trotter, then mitchell. i agree mitchell is good talent for low pay but he's not fast enough especially for williams' defensive schemes. i hope we start, or atleast try to work in, clifton smith.

I think Trotter will still end up being a probowl linebacker again. Hes got most of the physical intangibles, but like everyone of the other Redskins has had different coachs that dont know how to use him. Plus he was injured. We have to get rid of his cap figure and might not fit well with us but I bet he succeeds for another team.

In the right system Trotter will regain his Pro Bowl form. Barrow is still a very effective LB who plays with alot of fire. I've always like K-Mitch, he's a solid and heady player, he should have been starting these last two seasons, and we should have kept Barber.
Top 3 worst personnel moves since Snyder took over: 1) George: pushed BJ out of town 2) Sanders: huge waste of $$ even though his play was solid 3) Trotter: huge waste of $$ even though his play was solid |

Top 3(4) worst personnel moves since Snyder took over:
1.Danny Wuerful 2.Shane Matthews 3.Bringing back Danny Wuerul 4.Supply those two with a bunch of bum receivers from Flordia that just got cut anyways.

I agree that we should have kept Barber. He was solid and didnt really give up plays. That was one of those stupid dismanteling and rebuilding moves that Snyder did. Its not like Barber was that much worse, but Trotter and Armstead made the pro bowl the year before so Dan thought the team would be better if we just turned the team over everything. I just want us to have some damn continuity for once. I hope we build our team this year and only get a few plugins next year. I actually wouldnt mind us trading our next years first just to get a team together and run with them.

i think the team was hesitant to resign barber cuz he was coming back from a nasty knee injury. i hated seeing him go to phili and wish we'd made the attempt to bring him back instead of him going to KC.

A lot of people make the mistake of saying "The Eagles signed Barber for $X, we should have kept him for that." Barber wouldn't have signed the same deal from us - he believed he already proved himself to the team. He wanted to beat us (hence the division rival) and showcase himself to the league.
