I think it's a shame, I want to see what kind of numbers that kid can put up on the field. Yeah, he's an asshole, but I still feel he'd be exciting to watch.

On a side note... How does a returned signing bonus work with the cap?

So glad we drafted ST instead of him.

Even though ST has his issues, at least he's making plays on the field.

He might have been exciting prior to his injuries. I just don't think after two season-ending injuries he'll ever be the same player again.

Was it the same knee he busted last year?

Re: Winslow done for the year

It will be interesting to see if he ever gets a chance to become a star. Malcolm is right, it's got to be very difficult to return to a game that you haven't had a chance to play at a professional level AND come back from two rather serious injuries.

And I agree with Daseal too, he really did seem to have the potential to be a stud, so in that sense it's a shame we may never get to see it.

Actually he broke his right leg last year, but it is on the same leg, yes.

I agree, I dont think he will ever be the same player he used to be. I also think he will be injury prone and likely never play a complete season again.

I guess compared to KW Taylor looks mature but Taylor has a long way to go on the maturity scale.

Speaking of mature, where are vet leaders on this team telling ST he needs to get his butt to the park and workout with the team?

I'm going to take a complete guess, but I'd assume they would get some money taken off the cap. The only reason I guess this, is because looking at our situation with L.Coles, him giving back his bonus would have given us more money for the cap. Hence, why I had such a problem with the trade. So I think if he is giving back part of the bonus, it would come off the cap.
