SS, can you confirm that John Clayton rocks a long, hidden ponytail? Dan Patrick swears by this on his radio show.

Clayton seem to always be a Shanny supporter.

The Lions are over rated.
I'm tired of hearing about them.
I hope the Bear crush them tonight.

Agree 100%.

I too saw this. I think it was Harrison when asked who would win the NFCE and he said the Eagles then added there is still a lot of games left to get their ship turned around.

Personally I think the Eagles could fix a few thing to make themselves better ie; bring in a DC, look to start stopping the run first, either move their DC back to OL or bring in a new OL coordinator, but will Andy Ried do that? I thinking not cause he's very stubborn and likes to try to prove to everyone his decisions were good ones.

Jack Del Rio could be available soon.

Re: Around the NFL Week 5

^ I could be confusing the DL guy with the DC guy but if Ried would swallow some pride and make a few tweaks it could be fixed. The defense reminds me of last yrs Skins. Teams ran all over us and now with the right personell the Skins are a lot better. So I can see how the scheme might work for the DC next yr but if your looking to make the run this yr they need to change their mind set a little. Instead of getting gashed both through the air and on the ground they need to start stopping one of the two maybe the run and force teams to try through the air to beat them.

Dungy said he was on the band wagon for the Skins to win the East, Harrison chuckled and Costas said "plenty of seats still left on that wagon".

Re: Around the NFL Week 5

Thing is the Eagles have so much money tied between Nnamdi and Vick. And how big was Cullen Jenkins contract, Cromratie? I think they're going to have to work with what they got. And Trent Cole, when is he a FA?

I don't know what they can possibly do to fix that horrid defense, stop being a one trick pony, prevent other teams from putting the hurt on Vick. The chance of coming back from 1-4 is not only mathematically challenging, it is mentally challenging. At 1-5, the season is most definitely over.

I hope we bury them.

Re: Around the NFL Week 5

The key has to be pressuring and hitting Vick. Also, I am sure Philly we start going back to more bootlegs and moving the pocket. Gotta keep that left-hand side on lock.

Re: Around the NFL Week 5

I think only 5 teams in NFL history have came back from a 1-4 start to make the playoffs.
