Re: The Official 2012 Senior Bowl Week Thread
o I hope we find a way to draft NT Alameda Ta'aamu
QBs o I thought Foles flashed the best arm of the group and he ended a nice TD scoring drive with an Aikman-esque bang 8 to Criner(sp?) which i thought was the best throw of the night -he's a big kid that doesn't have the sharperest footwork but he certainly has the arm talent and size o I thought Wilson was easily the best playmaker of the group he handled a couple poor snaps, i mean ball hitting the ground bad, with the ease and poise and turned a diaster play into a positive the way we've seen Romo bail out one of Gurodes bad snaps -showed the ability throw on the move and pick up yards with his feet which he needed to extend plays and convert 1st downs that resulted in a TD pass on the move -he forced a ball late up the seam that got picked but otherwise had a good very good game o I liked Weeden's overall package footwork, throwing motion, he flashed good arm strength, made a really nice throw on a wheel route to TE -he had a wierd underthrew on a go route up the right sideline -had a play where he lost his footing and probably shoulda either went down or threw the ball away or grounded it(grounding is not a penalty in the senior bowl) but instead made a poor decision kinda threw one up for grabs -but the flashes of talent imo outwiegh the decision making in a all-bowl game (for all the prospects) o didn't really look at Lindley and Moore that close o Cousins threw a nice crossing route (iirc) |

Re: The Official 2012 Senior Bowl Week Thread
To me it looks like Foles has the most upside. He can really sling it. Yeah he needs to work on his footwork but so do a lot of QB's that come out of the draft. Weedon looked pretty good too outside of the awful INT he threw. He seems the most ready to play right away. Hopefully we'll draft one of them and we can w/out giving up draft picks.
Let's also remember that these guys only had a week to practice together so sloppy play is expected. |

Re: The Official 2012 Senior Bowl Week Thread
Kirk Cousins convinced me that he's better than I give him credit for, I've followed him his whole career (huge Spartans fan) and one thing I've learned from him is that he's going to give you a chance to compete in every game. He has literally zero upside. He's a game manager, but a better one than Rex Grossman.

I'm surprised that Pauline listed Wilson as a 'Slider' and Cousins as a 'Riser' from the Senior Bowl. I came away from his article like I watched a different game. Was the difference between Wilson's and Cousins game wide enought for one to be listed as a 'slider' and one a 'riser'? Wilson was 4-7 with 1 TD: His 3 missed passes or as Pauline stated: 'sprayed his passes all over the field' only missed 3 passes o 1 was a poor decision throwing where he didn't look off the safety and threw late down the seam that got picked o another was a slant that was a little high but the receiver got his hands on o he also missed on a corner route, but it looked more like a timing issue then an accuracy issue as he his throw hit the back pylon which is exactly where you want it but it got there before the receiver o Wilson actually avoided some sacks and used his mobility and poise in the pocket to handle 2 horrible snaps that hit the turf I saw a completely different performance from Wilson then Pauline. Sometimes that doesn't mean much.

Re: The Official 2012 Senior Bowl Week Thread
The biggest problem is finding a team that wants to move up to your pick. NE has 2 first rounders, but they never trade UP. Same with Cincy. Cleveland has 2, but one is before us.

Love this idea! I hope you're right! I know you are right about Grossman and Beck!
