Doesn't Bowe want a long term VJax type contract, not sure we could do that with our salary cap situation.

If the Skins had one shut down corner and a difference maker who could consistently get to the QB, the entire Defense would be significantly better. Seems like some of you think most teams are stocked with talent at every position. They're not. Every team has holes. Without Merriwether, Jackson, Orakpo and carrier, the Skins D is historically awful. A middle of the pack D would make all the difference. A complete overhaul isn't necessary or realistic.

I wish we could pull off an equivalent of Champ for CP trade, with us getting the cornerback out of it. I would even trade Morris if we found a RB starved team.

Even had we secured Courtland Finnegan this off-season, I don't think the results would have been much different yesterday. Our play at the safety is killing us, and the lack of pass rush is as well.

I have supported D. Hall through his tenure in Washington, but I think after Sunday's game he needs to be dealt with. Release him, or Suspend.. Something needs to be done. Besides, can having Crawford in there be any worse then our secondary is now?

I don't mind keeping Wilson as #2 CB next year. As for NT, I agree that we need to look for one but not on expense of spending lot of money on a FA or drafting one with our 2nd and 3rd round picks. Plus we need to find a suitor for RT, unless Shanny is satisfied with Polumbus. To sum up, I believe we need to make the secondary and RT as top 2 necessities to fix in the off season. If we want to shore up on some other positions, we will have to do it through low round picks and bargain FA players.
Yeah, obviously we can't make all those moves in 1 off season with limited picks, it was more of a dream scenario/express how I feel about the current talent. No way we can replace that many people so quickly. I wouldn't mind Wilson as a nickel back, I was just listing the starters I'd like to replace, meaning the top 2. Not necessarily getting completely rid of everyone if the price was right.

I'm not saying the injures have had no effect, but a statement like this is exactly why two more years of shanny are a death sentence for the team. Because he says this every. Single. Year. While the season is slipping away, and it places the blame on uncontrollables. It's the opposite of leadership.

The problem isn't that shanny is wrong. The problem is that the excuses are self defeating. They were last year. And will be next year.

Ya, but its still gonna take them around 3-4 years to build a good core of players around Luck before they get above .500. ITS A PROCESS PEOPLE!

Wait a second here...............................They are 4-3 with an interim head coach? Well, then their division must really suck then, thats it. AND they have a fukkin horseshoe on their helmet = UNFAIR ADVANTAGE

But they've beaten the Packers and the Vikings you say? Those two teams SUCK.

What's the Colts' excuse for losing to the Jaguars then?

And what's Marvin Lewis' excuse for being 3-4?

Why is Leonard Hankerson starting opposite Joshua Morgan? I was very disappointed in the number of drops Hankerson had against the Steelers. He also dropped a TD in the end zone. Dezmon Briscoe deserves a closer look.
