That article is utter BS. There is no way a coach or front office would deliberately sabotage a player that would result in a negative impact on what happens on the field. It is all about winning in the NFL, no coach is going to sit a pass rushing threat in a nickle situation to darken his stats. Some of these guys have huge egos and can't admit someone is better than them or their skills have diminished.

No one picked up Carriker after he left the Redskins, dude is totally full of crap. No one wanted him because he could no longer play at an NFL level not because the Redskins made him look bad.
