The major allies have already said that the US is on their own when it comes to Iran. They know killing their #2 guy is probably considered an act of war by Iran, which will lead to more attacks that could very well escalate into a full blown war. This is them saying......we aren't helping you due to your short sighted arrogance and pulling out of the Iran treaty deal that we all agreed on.
