But they played offense with grace and elan. X's and O's are one thing, but those teams were also well prepared and extremely disciplined with their fundamentals. The 88 and 89 team (inherited by Seifert) were as dominant as I have seen. 87 too, for that matter. We dodged a bullet when Minnesota upset them in S.F.
