Yeah lets not bring up Green-Ellis doing whatever he wanted to our run D in the 2nd half. the numerous penalties that killed drives, the lack of pass protection by the backup Oline, the big return allowed towards the end while the ST has been horrid on coverage the whole preseason. And a 50 yd fg used to be a big deal 10 yrs ago now its the standard by which the good kickers are rated. Wide Left.
its all on perception. if we were driving in the final min and he throws the pick 6 then yes he lost it. but that was in the 3rd. If we were driving for a win and he throws a pass to get us within the 50yds as time is running out and the FG sailed wide you would want the kickers head on a stick. He threw the pick then he threw a td so its even. ST allows the returner to catch the ball on his side of the 50 and return it to the mid 20's i believe as he dragged our player for about the last 5 yds.Again, to put it on ONE man is just a lame excuse when the team as a whole didnt do very well in the 2nd.
