However, with the way the draft has been neglected in DC for a decade you better settle in for a 7 year wait if you want Shanny to rebuild this roster entirely through the draft. A more realistic scenario is using the draft plus some under 30 free agents to boost the overall talent level and hopefully get competitive in the short term and then over time sustain it with a more draft oriented approach. One thing...Brees was a free agent so the Saints don't really help make your case.
