I understand that they were the only TEs available (which is a different issue on its own). But I would say going into a game knowing those were the only TEs available and that neither are good blockers then you shouldn't call plays that force them to make critical blocks in the run game. You make adjustments. For example GB and Seattle both use 3 wide receivers a RB and FB in I or Offset I and no TE in their run game. That's an adjustment.

Putting players in position where they are overmatched is how you end up with holding penalties from the TE spots and some failed runs due to their failed blocks.

The TE blocking is an issue they have to figure out becuase the next the Ram's actually have a good run defense unlike the Miami's whose run defense is only average.
