It's time to move on from the guy if he gets hurt again. The first day of camp he should be a full go. There is no reason for him to have any injuries right now. And not letting him have any contact isn't doing him any good. He needs to get his body ready for a full season. He needs to be doing some hitting day one.

if I can remember from looking at his contract details, it becomes very easy to move on after this season. I love the guy when healthy...if Alex Smith is successful in the passing game...we need the RBs to first step up and then the TE to work the underneath stuff. A Smith is a big TE guy.
