As for the punters, the AFL players kick the ball 50-60 metres (roughly 75 yards), with players coming at them from all angles, something which NFL players dont have to worry about, bar the QB...No the players arent 300lb lineman but rather similar to the bigger WRs in the league..Muhsin, TO etc..Considering there are no pads in our AFL, it can be a fairly violent sport.
I am not here to compare which sport is tougher or stronger, but my thoughts were on the possibilty of some of our sportsmen crossing over to the NFL.Ben Graham & Darren Bennet have both done it, and both were considered very soft AFL players.

again 53-60 meters is about what nfl punter do every time, plus they have to kick up at high angles to give coverage teams time to get downfield. I'm sure its possible for players to cross over from the AFL, but most seem to come from soccer backgrounds.
