Re: Playoff Picture
Here's what I'm going with for my NFC Wildcard Predictions:
Seattle 9-2: at Philadelphia (Win), San Francisco (Win), at Tennessee (Win), Indianapolis (Loss), at Green Bay (Win) Chicago 9-3: at Pittsburgh (Loss), Atlanta (Win), at Green Bay (Win), at Minnesota (Win) Carolina 9-3: Tampa Bay (Win), at New Orleans (Win), Dallas (Win), at Atlanta (Win) New York Giants 8-4: At Philadelphia (Win), Kansas City (Loss), At Washington (Win), At Oakland (Win) Tampa Bay 8-4: At Carolina (Loss), at New England (Loss), Atlanta (Win), New Orleans (Win) Dallas 7-5: Kansas City (Loss), At Washington (Loss), At Carolina (Loss), St. Louis (Win) Atlanta 7-5: New Orleans (Win), at Chicago (Loss), at Tampa Bay (Loss), Carolina (Loss) Minnesota 7-5: St Louis (Win), Pittsburgh (Loss), at Baltimore (Win), Chicago (Loss) Washington 6-6: At Arizona (Win), Dallas (Win), New York Giants (Loss), At Philadelphia (Win) Philadelphia 5-6: Seattle (Loss), New York Giants (Loss), at St. Louis (Win), at Arizona (Win), at Washington (Loss) 1) Seattle 13-3 2) Carolina 13-3 3) Chicago 12-4 4) New York Giants 11-5 5) Tampa Bay 10-6 6) Washington 9-7 (9-3 in NFC) Minnesota 9-7 (7-5 in NFC) Atlanta 9-7 (5-7 in NFC) Dallas 8-8 Philadelphia 7-9 If the Skins win 3 out of the last 4, I still think they make the playoffs. I think the deck is slightly stacked against Atlanta and Minnesota, and really stacked against Dallas. Going 2-1 against the Eagles, Giants, and Cowboys is an aggressive goal for the Skins, for sure. If the Skins are going to lose one of those games, it has to be to the Giants. Losing to Dallas would let the Cowpies into the picture. I think the last wildcard spot goes to a 9-7 team, and if the Redskins are one of them, they'll get it on the interconference record tiebreaker. 0-4 against the AFC West this year, it sucks looking at it, but I'm glad the wins are coming against the NFC! We need to root for the Bears a lot coming down the stretch. Their games against the Falcons and Vikings are vital. And Carolina will be our other favorite team, with games against Dallas and Atlanta. |
