For me I don't want a guy that's just moderately effective in short yardage, I want a guy I can put on the field at any time and threaten to get good yardage. Even if we maintain what is effectively RB by committee, I think we need an upgrade on Barber.

I'm not sure what it would take to bring him in, but I wouldn't be interested. Probably would cost more than he's worth. I think he's going on 10 years or more in the league, and he's over 30. I'd rather pick up a younger RB. I'm sure they can upgrade the position either through the draft, or as players become cap casualties.
