Those of you who are using the preseason as a gauge to predict the regular season for the Commanders are way off the mark. Most teams, including ours, play their starters sparingly and show very little of their offense and defense in preseason games.

One season when Joe Gibbs was our coach I was upset about the Redskins preseason performance which was putrid. I asked my wife's opinion and she said "Are you kidding me? This team is loaded! We're going to the Super Bowl this season! Purchase our Super Bowl tickets now." Naturally, I didn't buy the SB tickets and we did go to the SB - and we won it.
