Why Coach Gibbs gets no respect?

I am really dumbfounded on this subject, it may be that I am a "homer", but last night I was watching the NFL network and they had a NFL film on and Steve Sabol was comparing Vince Lombardi to Belichick. Saying things like how they are so similar and how Belichick is a master mind on the field like Lombardi was. Also like how Lombardi had only a handfull of plays that were ran to perfection and how Belichick puts players in the right situation.

Don't get me wrong what Belichick has done these past years is pretty amazing, with the salary cap and all. But what gets me is that Lombardi never had a losing season as a head coach, which is pretty impressive, where as if Belichick was a great mastermind then why did he have 5 losing seasons? I try to give credit where credit is due and like I said earlier what Belichick has accomplished is nothing short of amazing, but I have a hard time believing that he is a mastermind, I am sorry.

Coach Gibbs has only 2 losing seasons to his name with last season being the second time in his career, along with 3 SB rings, of which he got with 3 different QB's, 3 different RB's. Belichick's Patriots are built now he does not have to see what this QB can do or what that RB can do so that he can plan accordingly, Bilichick knows what Brady can do, he knows what Dillion can do, he knows how good Deion Branch is, and he knows how good his D is.

Again maybe I am just being a "homer", but as far as I am concerned Belichick has a long way to go before he gets mentioned in the same sentence with Lombardi and Gibbs...
