The Redskins, thanks to an improbable last-second victory over Dallas last week, still have a little life left in their season. Though still in the NFC East cellar, the Redskins gained a game on the Cowboys. A victory Sunday over the Eagles will keep alive Washington's slim playoff hopes.
The Eagles are coming off a bye, and the week off couldn't have come at a better time. The Eagles have lost three consecutive games, most recently an uninspired effort in a 13-6 loss to Jacksonville. With one of the NFL's toughest schedules still ahead, the Eagles desperately need a victory Sunday to regain momentum. Through eight games, the Eagles' Donovan McNabb has been as good as any quarterback. McNabb has 16 touchdowns passes and ran for three more, and he is on pace to throw for 4,624 yards. McNabb's only blemish is that four of his five interceptions have come during the three-game losing streak. As we all know, as Donovan goes, so goes the Eagles' offense
