National Speed Limit

That's an interesting thought and off the top of my head I'd say it's a good idea. However, I think it would basically kill the sports car market, and we all know the automotive companies would never let that happen.
Also, some people seem to be scared to drive 65mph on I-95 even though it's the speed limit so I could never see them going as fast as 85, let alone 100. These people typically stick to about 55-60 and can create a real danger on the roads as it stands now, so I can't imagine what it would be like to stuck behind them on a freeway with that high of a speed limit.
