Too much can not be made of Gibbs' absurd addiction to Brunell. It profoundly hindered the development of the offense. There's nothing inherently wrong with FA policy, so forget that nonsense. The fault lies in how we implemented that policy, which essentially has consisted of bringing too many bad FA's in and letting too many good FA's go.
